A short time ago my mom was concerned about the persistent cough she could hear coming from my dad in the next room. She decided to see if she could help with their new collection of doTerra essential oils. After a little research, she put a few drops of eucalyptus, peppermint and cypress into her hand and rubbed it on his chest. She then covered his chest with a warm cloth. She said it was amazing how quickly his cough stopped! I remember a similar treatment from my mom as a child. I would have a bad cold and she would rub Vicks Vapor Rub on my chest and cover it with a warm cloth. I remember feeling a lot better and feeling very loved and cared for. In the years since, I have not used Vicks Vapor Rub on my children because of I have been told that some of the ingredients may not be safe. But, I am excited to be able to use this method with my children from now on! My Mom could have used the doTerra Breathe blend to help my father as well.
